to find your measurements:

  1. using a flexible measuring tape, encircle the narrowest point of your torso—your waist—which is generally somewhere below your breasts and above your belly button
  2. the hip measurement is important here because oddos generally sit along your hips, as shown in the image. using the measuring tape, encircle the widest point between your waist and your thighs, generally where you can feel your pelvic bone.

if you don’t have a flexible measuring tape, you can use a piece of string, yarn, even a long shoelace, and measure the length after wrapping it around your body.
